Year 10 Photo Task

THE PHOTOS TASK

To prepare for filming our documentaries we will take 10 shots that demontrate an understanding of, at the very least, rule of thirds, lighting and mise-en-scene.  For this exercise, every shot needs to follow rule of thirds, and you will need to explain everything within the frame,  mise-en-scene - including lighting.  

Make sure you get at least one of each of the following:

1. a close up
2. a medium shot
3. a long shot
4. use of foreground and/or background to achieve a sense of depth
5. leading lines
6. frame within a frame

You are required to take ten shots, insert them into a word document and write a short explanation of your choice of detail - background, objects in the frame, camera angle, lighting, framing etc.
